I was so excited to get a sneak peek at Avery and Austin last week!  Avery & Austin is a new box of the month club with a really unique twist that is perfect for preschool and school aged kids. Avery & Austin helps you plan the perfect playdate but they do all the work!  I was thrilled to have the opportunity for and Avery and Austin review!

So what is the the Avery and Austin box you ask?  Well, we were lucky enough to review the first Avery & Austin box and I am super excited to share a sneak peek with you.

My oldest two kids were home for Spring Break and I am not gonna lie – we did ZERO things outside of the house and we didn’t invite anyone over.  Sometimes you just need a break am I right? Lucky for us we have built in playdates with one another!

The kids had an awesome time painting their birdhouses – we sat outside with all the supplies and it was so sweet to see them concentrating and being creative side by side.

While their creation was drying we made birdseed hearts to hang (instructions and all supplies were included of course).  In a couple hours the birdseed heart cake was hardened and our houses were dry!  The kids LOVED their craft time.

Again, we did this just with our kids but this was absolutely a perfect project for a couple hour playdate.  My kids gave it an enthusiastic two thumbs up and said they hope we can do the same thing with their friends each month too.

“In each thoughtfully curated #PerfectPlaydate box, you’ll find two sets of everything you need to host the perfect playdate. From fun crafts and activities, to healthy snacks, plus a surprise host gift for you.”

Avery & Austin boxes include the following….

  • two crafts and activities specifically picked with kids 4 to 12 in mind.
  • two healthy & kid friendly snacks – they are always nut free
  • a special hostess gift for mom – it’s a surprise! – look at this last month’s here! (so pretty!)
  • a gift bag for your guest to bring their craft home in

This is such a great idea! I love that everything is packaged and ready to go, with no prep required. Kids love crafting and creating things. An Avery and Austin box would be a great idea to use for play dates or for siblings to enjoy. You could even subscribe to Avery and Austin, and save the boxes as unique gifts. Thank you for sharing!
