Disclosure: Press passes were provided.

The Coronado Island Film Festival is right around the corner. I was surprised by how awesome the line up is for this first year film festival.

Animation, opening film, shorts, and all panels and the talent who will present for them.

Highlights for me!

  • Opening night you can see the WORLD PREMIER of The Finest Hours by Walt Disney Pictures.

I have been looking forward to this based on a true story for quite some time – check out the trailer here………….

The Finest Hours opens in theaters at the end of the month, but if you attend the Coronado Island Film Festival you can see it FIRST on January 15th.  There will be two screenings at 8pm and 11pm at The Village Theatre.

An All Star Animation Panel!

Inside Out

  • On Saturday from 3 – 430pm I will be sure to be checking out the Animation Panel at the Coronado Island Film Festival!  Loews Coronado Bay Resort will host the panel featuring several different studios! Jonas Rivera who produced the Disney Pixar movie “Inside Out”, Suzanne Buirgy who produced Dreamworks “Home”, as well as Leonard Maitin the author of “Of Mice and Magic : A history of American Animated Cartoons” will be in attendance!

The Coronado Island Film Festival is three days of non stop behind the scenes movie magic! Grab your tickets and more information below
