The Best Dairy Free Lunchbox Ideas!

dairy free lunchbox ideas

Back to School is here!  We found out a while back that we have a dairy allergy in our family so that changes our lunch box routine. Dairy used to be a regular staple in our house but because of one allergy we are all pretty much dairy free in solidarity.  This year when we pack lunches for school days we will be packing only dairy free lunch options.  We have found so many fun, healthy, and delicious dairy free options for our lunches this year and today we are sharing our favorites with you.  Below are 15 Dairy Free Lunchbox ideas.  All of these non dairy recipes and lunch idea are from other blogs and posted with permission.  Please follow the linked lunch ideas for the full recipe.

Many of these lunch box ideas are perfect to make ahead in large batches for easy packing in the morning.  There are of course a couple adorable ‘cute food’ bento box ideas too.  This is a great mix of ideas with different flavors to suit even the pickiest of kid’s desires.  I hope that it is helpful as you ease back into the school year.

We’ve tried to include several different types of foods for kids and adults.  We know that there are lots of different allergies out there, so please take note of all the ingredients of each recipe.  We know that not all of these recipes will work for every kid or school.  Some schools do have rules about nut butters or other ingredients.  I hope that this is a great list of ideas to get you started as we go into the new year, and I hope that at least a few work for your family.

Lunch can be a bummer. My kid’s a vegetarian in a nut-free school so all her favorite options aren’t available. Ok, well the one thing she’d eat without grumbling. But you’re inspiring me to have fun with lunch a little more. Those silly faces would totally be a welcome addition to her lunchbox.
