8 reasons to visit the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays!

8)  Holiday Decor in the Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Even if you are not staying at Disney’s Grand Californian make sure to stop in the lobby!  This beautiful craftsman style hotel is the perfect setting for traditional Christmas decor.  Check out the gorgeous tree in the lobby (I may or may have not laid down on the ground to get a photo that included both the kids at the bottom and the tippy top of the tree)

A team of bakers, engineers, and artists were working on the Grand Californian Gingerbread house while we were staying at the hotel.  I have stayed at the Grand Californian before and it is always cozy and inviting, but when you add the smell of gingerbread to the lobby it is downright heavenly!  The ‘house’ is 12 feet wide and 7 1/2 feet tall!
