Beauty and the Beast was my favorite Disney animated film that was produced during my lifetime.  The animation, story, music, all of it was perfection.  I audibly gasped when I heard that Beauty and Beast was the next in line to become re-imagined in live action.  I have anxiously awaited the first peeks at what I could only hope would be just as spectacular.

These first photographs did not disappoint. Let’s just take a little picture walk shall we?

Belle and Maurice have always been #FatherDaughterGoals for me.

Lefou and Gaston are my favorite lovable villains.  Fun fact – Lefou is played by Josh Gad, who just happened to voice a little known character named Olaf in a little known film called Frozen….. you may have heard of it.

Emma Watson in that iconic gold ball gown.  This is the shot fans have been waiting for.

Belle in the castle, it’s just perfection.

Everybody with me…..  “Noooo one fights like Gaston, Douses lights like Gaston……”

The gang is all here!  Look at the adorable enchanted castle staff! Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Babette!

And last but not least, a little peek behind the scenes.  Emma Watson taking direction as they film.  This movie is sure to be pure magic.

As if these first images were not enough, I also have a trailer.  It’s OK to cry…..

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.

Beauty and the Beast opens in theaters on March 17, 2017.  I promise to share more as it becomes available!
