Arenal Kioro ~ Suites & Spa : Costa Rica

And for another installment of “Beautiful resorts for your consideration in Costa Rica” please allow me to present to you Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa.  While every hotel we had the pleasure of visiting made us feel pampered, I would have to say that this beautiful resort was the most luxurious.  Arenal Kioro was surreal for us.  We have never been in a hotel quite so beautiful, much less in such a beautiful and peaceful setting.  It is absolutely no surprise to us the Arenal Kioro received a Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice Award in 2013.

Arenal Kioro is located 10 kilometers Northwest from La Fortuna in San Carlos, in front of the majestic Arenal Volcano.  This is a beautiful inland location where you will wake to the sounds of birds and rainforest animals!

Arenal Kioro offers spacious suites with panoramic volcano and mountain views! Rooms are lavish with amazing linens, soft robes, jacuzzi tubs, balcony, free WIFI, and more. Arenal Kioro is committed to sustainability and is certified in sustainable tourism.

Heliconias Restaurant was quite possibly the most elegant restaurant we have ever had the opportunity to dine in.  The dining room also has large glass windows facing the Arenal Volcano.  We suggest trying to make it to dinner before the sun sets.  We absolutely loved the view – but when the sun sets it is pitch black!  The staff was very helpful and happy to offer a menu in either Spanish or English.  We were happy to see that many items on the menu were organic and sustainably farmed.  Please enjoy a couple pictures of our dinner……….
