LA Zoo LIGHTS – Animals Aglow
The holiday season is the perfect time to take a stroll around the Los Angeles Zoo. Beautiful lights and music have been set up all over the park for LA Zoo Lights – Animals Aglow. We had a sneak peek at the event that runs most nights through January 7, 2024. Celebrate the holiday season with LA’s not-to-be-missed holiday adventure in the heart of the city.
LA Zoo Lights – Animals Aglow tickets are just another way to support the Zoo’s mission to save wildlife and enrich our community. This evening event is a perfect holiday activity to attend with your family or give as a gift.
If you have been to LA Zoo Lights in the past, you will be surprised by how much it has grown this year! Our family loved the lights at the LA Zoo last Christmas week, but we were blown away by the lights for 2023!
Explore an immersive landscape filled with dazzling new lantern sculptures of animals among blooming flowers, towering trees, and more, for a nature-focused holiday celebration that’s as inspiring as it is breathtaking. This year’s experience features all-new seasonal wonders, including a magical Winter Wildlands with majestic pine trees, glowing ice crystals, snow-loving animals, views of the “northern lights,” and spectacular photo spots for the ultimate holiday snaps. VIP experiences and a community nights are available.
Is there a discount for Zoo Members?
Los Angeles Zoo Members enjoy a 27% discount on tickets. We love our LA Zoo membership for regular trips to the zoo, but we also love the discounts on food. merchandise, and events.
Will you see Animals at the LA Zoo Lights Event?
It is unlikely guests will see any live animals at the LA Zoo Lights – Animals Aglow event. Most of the animals are off exhibit and enjoying quiet time. There are many animals and insects represented in large glowy decorations throughout the park, but we did not see any live animals on display.
