Shout out to my college-age son who compiled this list for everyone. I have to share a tip from his sister that is a top-tier addition to this list. This list includes FIFTY places that will give you a free item on or around your birthday. You cannot possibly pick up everything on your birthday. Here is the little pro tip; your birthday can be ANY day you choose. You can have your birthday be different at every store. Each store just really wants to encourage customers to come in for a little reward every year. I suggest you sprinkle your birthday throughout the year so nobody is left out!

Food and Drink Chain Freebies
Starting off with some simple places to get free food, we have Food and Drink Chains. These include everything from Starbucks to Buffalo Wild Wings. Make sure to read how to sign up for each birthday reward as every place is different.
Starbucks offers any drink in any size on your birthday. Starbucks requires you to be a member at least 7 days before your birthday. They also require at least one star-earning purchase before your birthday.
Up next is Dunkin Donuts with a free drink or bonus points. All you have to do is be a Dunkin Donuts Perks member and enter your birthday.
Panera bread offers a free pastry or treats on your birthday. You just need to sign up to be a MyPanera Rewards member with your birthday saved.
Baskin-Robbins will gift you a free scoop of ice cream for your birthday. Just make sure you sign up for the birthday club with your birthdate.
Ben and Jerry’s also offer a free scoop of ice cream as long as you join Flavor Fanatics Rewards with your birthday.
