New Driving School at LEGOLAND California Resort
Get ready to experience New LEGO Driving School at LEGOLAND California Resort! Starting on May 21st, LEGOLAND is introducing its new and improved update to the Driving Schools in Fun Town! This fan-favorite ride is about to get so much cooler!
Both the Driving School and Junior Driving School have been a memorable part of the LEGOLAND Resort experience. There’s nothing more awesome than your kids getting their first driver’s license! LEGOLAND announced that this ride would be getting a huge update, with a bunch of new and improved interactive features. The New Driving School at LEGOLAND California results features brand new tracks that give young drivers a more immersive experience behind the wheel. These include new roundabouts, intersections, and even a car wash that bursts with bubbles as they drive through.

The Driving School and Junior Driving school are both super awesome experiences for kids. What’s cooler than getting to drive your very own LEGO car in the streets? Another awesome part of this experience is that it’s also helping kids gain a better understanding of driving. This driving experience helps teach kids all of the rules of the road. From stop signs to streetlights, they’ll be professional drivers after this course.
Besides having a blast at Driving School, kids get a little something to take home and remember their fun. Once kids finish their driving experience, they are given their very own driver’s license. Everyone gets one of these driver’s licenses (even if you bumped into a few people once or twice on the road). If you want to take your driving experience to the next level, you can even upgrade your driver’s license. Located just outside of the Fun Town Driving School, there is a kiosk where you can upgrade your license. You’ll be prompted to take your picture, customize your background, and pick a lanyard! This is perfect for families who are looking for an inexpensive souvenir to take home. Many kids go to LEGOLAND to buy a LEGO Set, but getting a driver’s license can be a better option. You’re not just bringing home a souvenir, you’re bringing home the memory of driving.
Driving School at the LEGOLAND California Resort is a fun experience for kids aged 3-12. The Junior Driving School is aimed at kids 3-5, while the Driving School is aimed at kids 6-12. There isn’t an option for bigger kids, but there’s no harm in asking if your older ones can ride too!
Also, as if this new upgraded Driving School isn’t enough excitement, the Driving Schools are right across from LEGOLAND’s upcoming indoor roller coaster. This coaster is set to open its doors in 2026. This part of the park is sure to be a hotspot for locals and tourists, so make sure to reserve your tickets!

LEGOLAND Summer Activities

You can also meet all of the characters from this parade as well! This parade features Hopsy (the LEGO DUPLO bunny, the LEGO Scuba Diver, Fire Chief Freya, Lloyd from Ninjago, and the Scallywag Pirate. Be sure to find these characters once the parade has finished.
The parade will make its way through the west side of the Park: starting in Fun Town, moving down the hill past DUPLO Play Town, and entering The LEGO MOVIE WORLD for the finale! You won’t want to miss this awesome parade that is only running this summer!
