Supermarket Sweep is back with host Leslie Jones!

The classic 1960’s game show Supermarket Sweep is back on ABC!  Such a fun show for the whole family.  The reboot of Supermarket Sweep is hosted by the hilarious Leslie Jones. Sunday nights at 8/7 C starting on October 18th make sure you are tuned in to ABC.  Supermarket Sweep is the fun show all of America needs right now and I am so excited to enjoy it with my family.

How to be on Supermarket Sweep?

The show that used to reward a winner with $5,000 has really stepped it up!  Contestants on Supermarket Sweep can now win up to $100,000! Um, WHAT?! Why am I not on this show? Are you asking yourself how you can sign up to be a contestant? The producers of Supermarket Sweep say they are looking for all kinds of people on their show; so no matter who you are they want to see you audition. Well as of this moment, you can fill out this form to try out for Supermarket Sweep! My husband and I are seriously considering trying out.  Supermarket Sweep is filmed in Burbank, California.

Contestants have the opportunity to win anywhere from $25,000 – $100,000!

I remember watching the first reboot of “Supermarket Sweep” in the 1990s thinking I could win it too. I am so excited to cheer on another generation of contestants. 

Fun Fact

SNL’s Leslie Jones is this reboot’s host.  What many people do not know is that Leslie auditioned with her roommate to be on Supermarket Sweep in the 90s!  She got to one of the final few teams and her team partner was called back into work! She will never know if she would have made it on the show, but I would imagine hosting the show all these years later maybe makes up for it.
